CERTASS

CERTASS is an abbreviation of Certification and Self Assessment and gives consumers the peace of mind that their double glazed windows whether new or replacement windows, are compliant with government enforced building regulations.

If your double glazing installer is a CERTASS member then your installation will be registered electronically with your Local Authority and you should receive a Building Control Certificate shortly after the works is complete and paid for.

CERTASS is a non-profit organisation designed to benefit both consumer and installer. CERTASS registration is not a guarantee of work, materials or quality, but rather certification that the work complies with current Regulations & Standards.

Remember: Failure to get the necessary Building Regulations certification for your new or replacement double glazing could cause unnecessary complications when selling your property.
